
Emma joined the team at Neilan Stramandinoli Family Law initially as a paralegal while completing her Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Linguistics degrees at ANU before being admitted to the Supreme Court of the ACT and the High Court of Australia in early 2023. Emma found her love for family law as a way to genuinely help people.
She takes prides in building strong connections with clients and being a friendly face during a stressful time. Drawing on her growing expertise, she is committed to helping clients understand and navigate through the complexities of our legal system with empathy and understanding. Emma believes in providing pragmatic solutions to ensure that you and your family get the care and attention you deserve.
Emma will help you resolve your matter amicably to keep you out of the Court space if possible. For the matters that do need Court assistance, she often appears in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia in parenting and property matters, or in the ACT Magistrates Court advocating for our clients in family violence matters.
Emma is a country girl at heart and spends her weekends with her elderly golden retriever or ‘out bush’. She enjoys brunching, tending to her various indoor plants, and spoiling her many nieces.
